Research Design

As part of our Lambeth Community Research Network (LCRN) Community Research Programme, we will be providing a series of in-person workshops to guide you through each stage of a community research project and explore the different ways it can contribute to community actions that improve conditions for individuals and communities in Lambeth.

This first session will help community organisations and researchers to clarify the purpose of their project, the change or action they want to achieve, and the evidence they will need to gather in order to support that aim. 

The session will begin with attendees sharing their initial project ideas and intended outcomes, before working backwards to consider what information, insight or data is needed and which broad methods may be most appropriate. 

The session will also encourage attendees to start identifying key stakeholders, communities involved, and any gaps in their current thinking.
